CASTS LISTS ARE ALL FINAL
A Message from the Production Team
Parents,
WOW!!! Your kids are so talented!!! The judges could not believe that there was so much talent in one elementary school!
We have the capability to do 3 casts! We had 75 5th and 6th graders this year with a total of 114 kids!
As a team of volunteers, we love your children and wish that there was a lead for each one of them EVERY YEAR! We are fortunate to have so many participate, but this makes the job of the judges that much harder. This year we had 3 outside judges who are very qualified in finding the right roles for the kids. We would ask for you as a parent to help your children understand what it means to others for their support and congratulations. Please help your children be excited for the role in which they were cast. At our house, we allow a 24 hour pity party--to let them feel sad or mad or all the feels about their part, but we never speak ill of anyone casting or who got the part we wanted. But after that, no more sad/mad, and we talk about how much fun their specific part and being in the show is going to be. Sometimes the most fun are those ensemble roles.
Every year, we have parents that want to know how the judging works. This year we had 99 auditions come in! We feel it is important to have an outside perspective and for the process to be as fair as possible. We have several judges from other schools be on the judging panel to help judge and meticulously go through their scoring and recommendations. WE WERE ALL BLOWN AWAY at call backs and had our work cut out for us! Thanks for your support with the final casting results of our show.
These kids are going to blow you away! They are amazing!
We will see the purple cast at 7:25 am on Monday morning and the gold cast at 7:25 am on Tuesday morning!
We can't wait to get started!
